Dr Armstrong's key interests are: inherited cardiac conditions, metabolic cardiomyopathy, aortopathy and cardiac conditions associated with genetic syndromes.
Current role and experience
Dr Armstrong is a Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist with a specialist interest in inherited cardiac conditions. She trained at Queens University Belfast qualifying in 2003.
After training in paediatrics in Northern Ireland, Dr Armstrong completed her paediatric cardiology training in Bristol.
Interests outside of work
In her spare time, Dr Armstrong enjoys spending time with her children and is a keen musician.
